Planning to work in a variety of media, I think it's important to start thinking about this stage... already. I want to confine myself to the square image to be sure that the variety will still be cohesive in the end.
Ultimately, I plan to have several pieces (each with different media) all based on the same original piece of artwork and all contained in the same size frame (19 3/4"), each with a birch "mat".
